I would like to add a situation:

I use the plugin “thumbnail For Excerpts” I found out that with certain image files like gif and png the sidebar also slides down!

I hope someone will find this use full.

Well, first thanks for the tip to add #header h1 { display:none }. It certainly suppresses the ‘Blog Title’.

But I also want to suppress the ‘Tagline’.

I tried adding this:-
#header h2 { display:none }
#header h3 { display:none }

But the Tagline still appears.

Any ideas anyone?

I love this WP theme. I hope you don’t mind that I edited it a lot and customized it to fit my needs, taking it from a WordPress theme to a regular website layout. I am still crediting your site for the original design. Oh, and this is really random but you look a lot like a guy I know named Shokaut. I hope I spelled his name properly.
